Annie Mist Thorisdottir is an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the first female to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. The first female to win at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie as well as her parents as well as her siblings, were born and grew up at Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she has been a sport and fitness enthusiast. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir, as of 2021, is aged 31. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around the 67-kg mark. Annie began the CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. Annie had an impressive performance during her first competitions. She placed among the top 10 in 70 competitors. However she was unable to take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. It was in her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she became the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in the year 2014 and then in 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae, among others. Her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie" which has over 1000 subscribers. This is where she shares videos about the diet of her training, life with family and traveling.
